Mark Griffiths: An Incremental Demise

Mark Griffiths: An Incremental Demise

This exhibition explores the choices we face about land use through photography, personal stories and scientific evidence.
The exhibition opens on Tuesday 6th October, 6-8pm, with a screening of Hollow Mountain.
Hollow Mountain is a short film examining the impact of quarry blasting and the loss of green space in South Wales.
The exhibition runs until Friday 30th October.

As the exhibition is displayed in our Lesser Hall (a multi-use community space), we recommend contacting us in advance to arrange a suitable time to view the work – 01639 843163 / boxoffice@thewelfare.co.uk.

Other than the opening event, the remainder of the slots listed are for opening hours info only – it is not necessary to book a ticket.
This event is part of our third Autumn Rising festival, which celebrates mining communities connected by industrial and cultural heritage through arts, activism, history and culture. This year’s festival focuses on talent and stories from South Wales mining communities.
