The welfare Ystradgynlais - Paul James

Paul James: Designated Drinker

Welsh favourite and MC at the acclaimed Clown’s Pocket comedy club, comedian Paul James performs his latest show, “Designated Drinker” here at The Welfare Ystradgynlais this December, hosted by local boy Gareth Thomas, supported by Andrew Rutledge.

Paul James:
Paul’s wife loves to drive, while Paul has a rare medical condition that stops him from driving and causes him to make up rare medical conditions.
So he became the self-appointed ‘Designated Drinker’. He unselfishly dedicates himself to this role in the face of objections from his wife, the medical profession and occasionally the law! He is currently banned from four pubs, two hotels and one and a half countries!
