Celebrating the past 100 Years of Brass Banding in Ystradgynlais since the public bands reformation after WWI.

The Ystradgynlais Public Band will play; featuring Bronwen Lewis and Cor Dathlu Cwmtawe – Conducted by Conway Morgan.

About the Band:
The Ystradgynlais Public Band was formed in the nineteenth century. The band is one of the oldest brass bands in Wales, making music since the Victorian era when Ystradgynlais was an important industrial town. The members’ ages range from 9 to 90 and there is a wide range of experience and ability as you would expect in a small town band. They enjoy a varied schedule, taking part in concerts, fetes and community events.
