Some satellite navigation systems take you to the back of the building where there is often parking on the street.You should find ample parking in our Car Park in front of the building; if not the town car park is a 4 minute walk.

From the South and M4

Leave the M4 Junction 45 and join the A4067 North. Continue on this road for approx 15mins through 7 roundabouts, following signs for Dan-yr-Ogof Caves and Brecon. After the seventh roundabout follow the sign for Ystradgynlais and filter turn right. At the mini roundabout turn left and continue into town. Shortly after a zebra crossing The Welfare is situated on the left just past the bus station entrance.

From the West and Brynamman

From Brynamman follow the A4068 until you hit the big roundabout on the A4067, turn left and within half a mile, turn right following the signs for Ystradgynlais. At the mini roundabout turn left and continue into town. Shortly after seeing the shops and two zebra crossings, The Welfare Ystradgynlais is situated on the left just past the bus station entrance.

From the North and Heads of the Valley Road A465

Leave the A465 at Glynneath and follow the A4109 towards Abercrave. Continue as it becomes the A4221 and when you reach the T Junction, turn left onto the A4067. After passing Abercrave you will reach two consecutive mini roundabouts, keep left, following signs for Ystradgynlais, you will soon be entering Ystradgynlais, at the bottom of a long hill (Brecon Road) turn right into The Welfare’s car park.

From the North and Mid Wales / Brecon

Join the A40 and travel west towards Sennybridge. Turn left off the A40 onto A4067 (towards Dan-yr-OgofCaves and Swansea). Keep on this road. After passing Dan-yr-Ogof Caves and then Abercrave you will reach two consecutive mini roundabouts, keep left, following signs for Ystradgynlais, you will soon be entering Ystradgynlais, at the bottom of a long hill (Brecon Road) turn right into The Welfare’s car park.
