Diversity in Mining: A Conversation

Three acclaimed historians come together for an enlightening and informative panel discussion based around Diversity in Mining.

Each panellist will speak on their chosen specialism, covering women in mining, disability in mining and Black mining history, followed by the opportunity to ask any burning questions that remain.

• Myya Helm (School of History, Archaeology, and Religion, Cardiff University)
• Norena Shopland (author of Women in Welsh Coal Mining: Tip Girls at Work in a Men’s World)
