Welfare Youth | Climate Voices: Spoken Word & Creative Writing Workshop (11-18 Years)
How do we talk about the things that matter to us? How can creativity help us process big feelings and create positive change?
Join multidisciplinary artist Rufus Mufasa for an engaging and supportive creative writing workshop exploring climate anxiety, hope, community and action.
Through discussion, listening to examples of poetry, spoken word, music, and a range of accessible writing activities, young people will have the opportunity to explore their thoughts and feelings about climate change, their environment and the future.
The workshop focuses on empowering young people to find their voice, express what matters to them and discover how creativity can be a tool for connection, resilience and positive action.
